Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel overlooking the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria.

Depending on your arrival time, take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens, enjoy a spectacular sunset over Africa’s largest lake, or simply relax and unwind after your international flight.

Day 2Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park – Top Of The Falls Visit

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing north for Murchison Falls National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 4–5 hours (250 km). Along the way, you’ll pass through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, dotted with vibrant trading centres where local vendors sell a variety of fresh tropical fruits and vegetables. If you wish, you can stop to sample seasonal fruits such as jackfruit, pineapples, bananas, and more.

An optional stop can be made at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (USD 60 per person), the only place in Uganda where white rhinos roam in the wild. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided walking safari to track the rhinos on foot. Alternatively, you may visit Lugogo Swamp (USD 30 per person), renowned for its resident shoebill storks.

Continue with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant before entering the park. Later, visit the spectacular Top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below.

As you make your way to the lodge, enjoy an en-route game drive with your first opportunity to spot wildlife beginning to emerge in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 3Morning Safari – Afternoon Waterfall & Sundowner Boat Cruise

As Murchison Falls National Park is renowned for its predators, which are most active during the early morning hours, enjoy an early breakfast or opt for a packed breakfast before setting off on your morning game drive for the best chance of spotting lions and other wildlife before they retreat into the bush.

Your guide will make a stop at the delta with a scenic view of the hippos wallowing in water, different bird species and a variety of antelopes as they feed. Here you can step out, stretch your legs, and soak in the natural surroundings as you enjoy an authentic bush breakfast experience amidst the wild.

Continue your game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and the many bird species that inhabit the open savannah.

Return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Paraa for your afternoon boat cruise along the mighty River Nile towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. As the sun begins to set, enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing and photography opportunities while soaking in the golden light reflected across the water.

Keep an eye out for colorful birdlife, Nile crocodiles basking along the riverbank, pods of hippos, and other wildlife that gather at the water’s edge.
Return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner.

The journey takes approximately 6–7 hours, with a stop en route at a local restaurant for lunch and a refreshing soft drink.

As you continue, notice the changing scenery as rolling farmlands gradually give way to lush tea plantations and dense tropical rainforest.

Arrive at your forest lodge, where birds and playful monkeys are frequent visitors. Check in, freshen up, and enjoy dinner while surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the forest.

Day 6Chimpanzee Trekking

As you follow the forest trails beneath the towering canopy, listen to the sounds of the jungle before coming face-to-face with our closest relatives in their natural habitat. Watching the chimpanzees feed, groom and communicate with one another is a truly unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Thereafter, return to the lodge for lunch and relax or choose from the following optional activities:

Proceed to your lodge and arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes. Keep watch for elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, warthogs and an abundance of birdlife while searching for predators such as lions and leopards.

Thereafter, return to the lodge as the sun sets over the savannah. Freshen up and enjoy dinner.

Day 8Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Rise early for breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive when the park is at its most active. The cool morning temperatures provide excellent opportunities to encounter elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, waterbucks and, if you’re fortunate, predators returning from a successful night’s hunt. The soft morning light also creates ideal conditions for photography.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to the Kazinga Channel, the starting point for your afternoon boat cruise. This wildlife-rich channel attracts large concentrations of hippos, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles and an impressive variety of resident and migratory bird species. Enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing, breathtaking scenery and excellent photography opportunities from the comfort of your boat.

Thereafter, make your way back to the lodge, enjoying an en-route game drive as wildlife begins to emerge during the cooler hours of the late afternoon. Arrive at the lodge, freshen up and enjoy dinner.
